Comcast Plans To Aggregate More Streaming Services

Comcast CEO Brian Roberts told investors at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference in New York today that Netflix is only the first major SVOD service to be embedded in its cloud-based video platform.
Why This Matters: Roberts said the cable giant is making a conscious decision "to aggregate other people's content." The company is rolling out a beta test of a Netflix app to users of its X1 interactive TV platform this week.
