Time -- Netflix partners with Dish Network

The satellite operator announced Wednesday that it will be integrating Netflix directly into its Hopper set-top box. That means Dish subscribers will be able to seamlessly switch to Netflix content using the same device, remote control and video input that they use when they watch regular television.

GizMag -- LG announces new 4K TV

 LG has announced that it will unveil a new 4K UHD TV at CES 2015 in January. What makes this (as yet nameless) model interesting is the fact that it will make use of quantum dot technology. In short, that means brighter, more colorful viewing.

Quantum dots are semiconducting crystals that range in size from 2 to 10 nanometers. The color of light emitted by a quantum dot when it is excited is determined by its size.
